Steve's curacy was in the Benefice of Goring, Streatley & South Stoke in Oxfordshire. Prior to ordination, Steve worked as a Youth Worker in Worthing, a Mission co-ordinator for CMS in Oxford and a Regional co-ordinator for Oxfordshire Christian Aid.

Steve is married to Lindsay and they have three daughters, aged 8, 4 & 2.
